Our 'Wild Walks' for children are a fun and interactive nature experience.Let your child connect with nature and experience the great outdoors by engaging in activities such as pond dipping, nature crafts, frog hunts, woodland creepy crawlie searches, story telling outside, picnics and much more. It is through nature and fun children can discover more about themselves and their place with all living creatures .
Connemara itself is very special place. There is an opportunity for children to be out on the bogs, to learn about sea life on some of Ireland's most beautiful beaches and to discover the many different birds native to the environment . Through observation, exploration and inquiry, children can learn more about the natural world. A nature walk is good for body and mind. But add a simple lesson on conservation for kids can really spark a child's imagination and help them to appreciate the beauty of the natural natural environment.
For lovers of birds Marie covers all the basics, from what to look for when viewing birds to where to look for them.Of course, watching wild feathered friends is exponentially more rewarding when shared with our human friends, especially young children just beginning to develop their appreciation of the outdoors.
