Sea shore walk Connemara (1.5 hours)
Explore a beautiful Connemara beach find anemones in rock pools and hear terns screeching overhead. Look out onto a sea of islands, see the otter tracks, learn about the rich ecology of the area. Stand beside mesolithic middens and see remains of shellfish dinners dated from 7,000 years ago. Paddle in the clear Atlantic ocean.
Bog walk Connemara (1.5 hours)
Travel back through geological time to the formation of Ireland learn about the Ice Age, find out about the people who lived here and the formation of the bogs. Touch bog oak, see the orchids in bloom, hear sky larks singing, see insect-eating plants and jump on quaking bog.
